These are changing times for the publishing and broadcast industry with major changes that affect each along with the authors, readers and listeners that that connect with each of these dynamic worlds.

There are three only things that are essential to a successful book.

The FIRST and most obvious is a good book. A good write in any category creates its own dynamic and in so many ways creates its own momentum and sells itself by word of mouth.

The SECOND essential for a successful publishing effort is a good cover.  Ironically in the business of words here is where a picture or creative art is worth a thousand words and all the pages that are embraced between the covers of the publication itself.

The THIRD and final essential for a successful publishing effort is media and broadcast exposure.  An author who has the opportunity to connect with their target audience to detail the story and share the meaningful insights crucial to the potential reader completes the sale!

Recent changes in the broadcast industry have dramatically changed the media and broadcast opportunities an essential component of the three only things equation for authors and readers to connect.

Everything has changed!

The authors and publishers on this site are the leaders in this new paradigm.

Experienced authors and publicists will tell you there are many who can do an interview  but only a few are able to deliver in the art of conversation. It is the deeper genuine conversation that will truly honor the authors work and context of their story and content.

Now anyone with an internet connection anywhere in the world can at anytime access and listen to the author's conversation. It is the warmth of the human voice in genuine conversation that connects the author to the reader.

Remember it's the conversation that creates the relationship with author and inspires the reader to complete the sale!

I look forward to ours!

Common Sense for Common Good

Common Sense for Common Good by Karen Olson Johnson

The paradigm shift is happening. With our instant technological capabilities to connect around the world, is also coming a parallel understanding of how interconnected we are as inhabitants of this planet. There is nothing that is done halfway around the world that doesn’t affect us right here. This realization propels us into the question of just what kind of world do we want to live in. A world of those with and those without, unpeaceful and filled with angst, or a world of common sense realities predicated on common good. We live in a global time of decision. We live with the power to claim our future.
